criss-crossing wide open fields, burrowing deep into blackberry
brambles, or pawing around the bottom of muddy ponds or puddles (or,
alternatively, the leftover muck after they evaporate, or even the dried
up hardpan after that), if there are lost toys to be found, he will
retrieve them. as this is to the tune of quite literally *hundreds* of
dog toys each year, i am given the task of figuring out what exactly to
do with these. the vast bulk of them get cleaned up and dropped off
every couple of months at the local animal shelter, some get donated to
local foster/rescue programs, and some get given to friends – but there
are always a great deal of essentially brand new toys that i used to
accumulate in his own private stash. this, as you might imagine, has
gotten out of hand – a dog who never loses toys only needs a pair for
himself. so i figured – hey, i wonder if he can earn a pair bucks and
chip in on his food? and so, the cream of the crop ends up here!
in this lot we have 5 used dog toys – 4 medium chuckit ultras and 1 medium chuckit ultra squeaker. all are in very good to excellent used condition, and have been scrubbed as clean as possible and disinfected (light bleach solution). there will, of course, be some scuffs, wear and mud staining – these are used dog toys, after all!
